The purpose of this website is to keep you up to date on the latest developments regarding the Golden Ocala P.U.D. Master Plan and how it may affect residents in Northwest Ocala.

In addition to the 10,000 seat World Equestrian Center of Ocala, already under construction, the Master Plan includes 1,564 single-family homes, 835 condo units, 385 hotel rooms, a 200 space RV park, and 525,000 Square feet of commercial retail uses. 

It is important to note that the Equestrian Center will host non-equestrian events as well. It will serve as a multi-purpose arena complex. Concerts, dog shows, and car shows are just a few events that come to mind.

Area residents are concerned about the impact the Master Plan will have on NW 80th Ave., NW 10th St., NW 14th St., NW 21st St., NW 100th Ave, Sherman Oaks community, and any other roads that feed either directly or indirectly into the above roads and streets.

A Traffic Impact Analysis was prepared for Golden Ocala Equestrian Land, LLC by Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. Opponents to the Master Plan do not feel that the Kimley-Horn analysis is in the best interest of area residents.
